"Judge Vandergriff was the original representative from the 26th District of Texas when it was formed after the 1980 Census. My fondest memory of Judge Vandergriff, however, is the voice of the Texas Rangers. Along with Dick Hoover, they did the broadcast. The BULB Act repeals Subtitle B of Title III of the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007, which is a de facto ban on the incandescent light bulb. Read more »

“Texas has lost a great public servant.
“During his 55 years of public service, Judge Vandergriff served as the first Congressman of the 26th District, was the youngest elected mayor of Arlington, and for 16 years served as Tarrant County judge. Read more »
Dr. Burgess spoke on the floor in support of the Diesel Emission Reduction Act of 2010. Dr. Burgess notes that Congress is still voting on legislative items that will affect the American people for decades. Instead, Congress should adjourn until the new Congress comes into session. Read more »
