Dear Friends,

My week started off with managing the Rule Debate for H.J. Res. 30 and H.R. 347. 

H.J Res. 30 would nullify a Department of Labor rule concerning the fiduciary duties with respect to employee benefit plans.

H.R. 347, the REIN IN Act would mandate that the Biden Administration undertake and produce a report for any major executive order issued that would detail the inflationary impact of the executive action. Both of these bills passed the House and were sent to the Senate. H.J. Res. 30 even passed the Senate and is making its way to the President's desk. 

I also joined Mornings with Maria to discuss the fentanyl crisis and the crisis at our southern border and the recent New York Times article exposing the failures of the Biden Administration at the border.
