Dear Friends,

2021 is rapidly coming to a close. Today, I am releasing my annual year-end report that details how my staff and I are serving, communicating, and working for the 26th District of Texas.

One of the most important things I do as your U.S. Representative is help you gain access to and information about the federal government. Although I cannot override a decision made by a federal agency, I can ask questions on your behalf to cut through the red tape. Throughout this year, my office was able to resolve over one thousand constituent concerns. 

In addition to constituent casework, I continued my tenure on both the House Rules Committee and the Energy and Commerce Committee. This Congress, Leader McCarthy also asked me to join the Budget Committee as his designee. In this new role, I continue to fight against the Democrats’ reckless spending spree as they push through trillions of dollars in taxpayer funding through budget reconciliation.  

Alongside Congressman Andy Harris of Maryland and Congressman Brad Wenstrup of Ohio, I lead the GOP Doctors Caucus. Our priority is to ensure that any health care legislation put forward reduces your health care costs, improves your choices, and puts the needs of patients first.

I am looking forward to another year working on behalf of the 26th District of Texas and the issues that matter to you. Above all, I wish you and your family a bright and joyous New Year.
