Dear Friends,

A study published by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention indicates that individuals who have not received the COVID-19 vaccine are 11 times more likely to pass away due to COVID-19 than those who have received the vaccine.

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced a new process for distributing monoclonal antibody treatments for COVID-19 to states and territories. HHS will distribute monoclonal antibody products to state and territory health departments on a weekly basis, according to COVID-19 cases.

  • HHS is administering $25.5 billion in provider relief funding to aid in the costs of lost revenue and extra expenses due to the COVID-19 pandemic: $8.5 billion will be made available to rural providers, and $17 billion will be released as part of the Phase 4, Provider Relief Fund payments.

The National Institutes of Health launched a new initiative called Researching COVID to Enhance Recovery (RECOVER) to study long-term COVID-19 effects.

Until next time, this is your doctor's note.
