The Consumer Product Safety Commission needs to alert everyone once again to a large recall involving magnetic toys that pose a serious danger to young children because the small, powerful magnets can fall out. 

2.4 million toys distributed by MEGA Brands have been recalled and they involve the Magtastik and Magnetix Jr. Pre-School Magnetic Toys and MagnaMan Magnetic Action Figures.  Below are the links to the two recalls in both English and Spanish:

There have now been 10 million magnetic toys recalled by MEGA Brands over the past two years resulting in one death and dozens of emergency surgeries involving young children.  Please encourage parents and caregivers in your community to immediately take these toys away from young children if they are among the recalled models.
