Washington, D.C. - The office of Congressman Michael C. Burgess, M.D. (R-TX), released the following statement on the passing of Christine Burgess.  

“It is with heavy hearts we regret to share that Congressman Burgess’ eldest daughter, Christine Burgess passed away in her sleep this past weekend. Congressman Burgess appreciates all of the thoughts and prayers and respectfully requests privacy for his family at this difficult time.

‘And the Peace of God which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.’ - Philippians 4:7,” said the office of Congressman Burgess.
