Dear Friends,

It is devastating to watch the barbaric attacks on Israel by Hamas; however, I am grateful for the leadership of Speaker Johnson to put forward two pieces of legislation that resoundingly show our support for one of our closest allies. This week, Speaker Johnson divided up the National Security Supplemental Appropriation request from President Biden and found ways to offset the cost of this request. It is critical that we remain resolute in our support of Israel, and we must do so in a fiscally responsible way. Now is not the time to waver in our support because Hamas will not hesitate to exploit it.
