On the lack of response from the Biden Administration: "People need to be heard, when something like this happens to them. They want to know that their government is actually paying attention to what's going on in their lives. And one of the ways you do that is for the commander in chief to get on Air Force One and go out there. It's not hard, logistically, and he should simply do it."

On American energy production: "The good news for them [Ukraine] is the good people of the United States, the good people of Texas, the producers of the Permian Basin here at home, they are willing and able and currently providing that energy that resource that Europe so desperately needs."
