I mentioned a letter I joined, led by Steve Scalise, to Speaker Pelosi simply asking for Congressional investigations into the Wuhan Lab. In order to prevent future pandemics, we must get to the bottom of the start of this pandemic.

National Update:

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services are requiring vaccination reports of residents and staff in nursing homes.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued interim guidance for treating patients with long-term COVID-19 symptoms, or “Post-COVID Conditions.”

A study by the National Institutes of Health found SARS-CoV-2 infections in five states began earlier than the initial report.

The Department of Health and Human Services announced a deadline extension for hospitals and other providers that received allocations from the Provider Relief Fund after June 30, 2020.

The data from Novavax’s Phase 3 trial of the COVID-19 vaccine displayed 90% overall efficacy. Learn more about the Novavax Phase 3 Trial Data here.

North Texas Update:

Dallas County lowered the COVID-19 threat level to yellow, the lowest level since the beginning of the county’s color-coding warning system.
