The National Institutes of Health announced 25 awards under the National Cancer Institute, creating the Serological Sciences Network for COVID-19, the nation’s largest coordinated effort to study immunology and COVID-19 in the United States.

Texas Updates Governor Abbott issued an executive order, effective October 14, permitting bars to open at 50% capacity and other establishments, such as amusement parks and movie theaters, to expand to 75% capacity, provided these openings occur in regions with low COVID-19 hospitalizations.
