On March 10, 2011 Congressman Burgess, Vice Chairman of the Subcommittee on Health, along with Energy and Commerce Chairman Fred Upton, Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigation Chairman Cliff Sterns, Subcommittee on Health Chairman Joseph Pitts sent a letter to Robert F. Bauer, Esq., Counsel to the President, regarding The White House's response when the committee requested information regarding closed-door meetings between the White House Office of Health Reform (WHOHR) personnel and various lobbying groups in relation to the administration's efforts to pass the health care legislation, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA).
