Dr. Burgess spoke on the House Floor regarding legislation he introduced in February, the Dental Emergency Responder Act. The legislation incorporates dentistry by name into the federal disaster response framework. Shortly after Dr. Burgess spoke the legislation, it passed the House by a vote of 401 to 12. It will now move to the Senate for debate and a vote.
