ICYMI: Burgess on Biden's Green Energy Agenda: 'All the warning signs should be going off'

Washington, D.C. – Congressman Michael C. Burgess, M.D. (R-TX), Vice Chairman of the House Rules Committee, joined Mornings with Maria to discuss President Biden’s anti-American energy agenda.

Highlights:  On the so-called “Inflation Reduction Act”: “All the all the warning signs should be going off as people follow this money through. Look, the so-called Inflation Reduction Act last August was never a good idea to begin with. There was way too much money pushed out the door in the various federal agencies. And now they [the Biden Admin.] are in a rush to find ways to spend that money.” On Biden’s EV Push forcing the U.S. to rely on China: "The administration will say that they've made efforts to bring that [electric vehicle] supply chain back on shore but you the deliverable is still at this point elusive. We say now [EV parts] must be made in America to be participants in this largesse that's coming for the electric car manufacturers, yet I'm worried they're that they're [manufacturers] are going to find a workaround and find a way to not make those products in the United States.”
