Cammack: "My mom was told she should abort me because when she was pregnant with my sister, they had told her that she would never be able to have children safely. In the days leading up to delivering my sister, in her late 20s, she suffered a terrible stroke. It took her about a year and a half to go through physical therapy and relearn basic motor skills. Then they told her [she's] never going to have kids again. Many years later, she finds herself pregnant with me alone, a single mom raising a daughter. Not only were her doctors encouraging her but pressuring her to have an abortion."

Burgess: "Roe vs. Wade happened right before I went to medical school. By the time I got to residency a few years later, sonography was just coming into its own. For two generations, every child's first picture was in their baby book."

Cammack: "The notion that abortion is health care, it's really not, truthfully. When we think about the way that the Left wants to frame it, they talk about women's empowerment. It's not a pro-women move, especially for that potential little girl that is the subject to be aborted or murdered. We need to push back on the narrative that abortion is women's empowerment."
