Washington, D.C. — Congressman Michael C. Burgess, M.D. (R-TX) and Congressman Tim Walberg (R-MI), co-chairs of the Congressional Motorcycle Caucus, introduced a resolution highlighting motorcycle profiling and promoting collaboration between the motorcycle and law enforcement communities.

“Texas is fortunate to be home to thousands of motorcyclists who take to the roads safely each day. As co-chair of the Congressional Motorcycle Caucus, I am committed to advocating for these riders on and off the road,” said Rep. Burgess. “This resolution recognizes motorcyclists’ importance to their communities and addresses the issue of motorcycle profiling. I am grateful to Rep. Walberg for his continued partnership as we bring attention to this issue in order to make travel safer for all motorists.”

“Michigan has a strong and vibrant riding community, myself included, that use motorcycles as a source of recreation and transportation,” said Rep.
