The Department of Agriculture (USDA) will start accepting applications for the Coronavirus Food Assistance Program on May 26th to distribute roughly $16 billion in support for agricultural producers who have suffered losses as a result of this pandemic.
Also, USDA and the Food and Drug Administration signed a Memorandum of Understanding to support the food and agriculture sector so that Americans can continue to have access to a safe and plentiful food supply.
