“Judge Brett Kavanaugh is a qualified jurist who will uphold the original interpretation of the U.S. Constitution as the Framers intended. Along with many North Texans, I believe Judge Kavanaugh will be a fair and impartial justice on our nation’s highest court. I thank my Senators, John Cornyn and Ted Cruz, for their efforts to confirm Judge Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court of the United States. Following this astonishingly cruel process at the hands of Senate Democrat obstructionists, the Senate must resume its work on the important issues before our nation.”
