Highlights:
On the Border: “We are giving kids out to people who are not their parents, not primary relatives. We’re sending them to secondary sources. That’s not the way it’s supposed to be, that’s not the way current law reads, but they [Homeland Security] changed it. The agency, Secretary Mayorkas changed it, individually, and then you get stories leaked out of Houston where they’ve lost 60 kids. Who knows what happened there? But do you worry about trafficking? I do. That’s why the administration needs to get a much better handle on this. It starts with border security."

On the Biden Administration's actions to avoid a rail strike: “Inflation is hurting them just as it’s hurting every American family. That’s on Joe Biden. He caused that back in February of last year when he did the American Rescue Plan. It was absolutely unnecessary throwing that amount of money into an economy that was already beginning to hum. And, surprise, surprise! You end up with significant inflation. Now the workers are having trouble just like everyone else. They are paying their bills at the end of the month and they need help. There are other unions, I’m sure, that are looking at this and perhaps taking their cues from that, as well."
