Today marks the 1,000th day since Senate Democrats passed a budget for the federal government. The last time they passed a budget, you had never heard of the iPad, General Motors had never declared bankruptcy, you had never heard of the Swine flu, and the national debt was $4 trillion smaller than it is today. While families struggle, Senate Democrats have decided it would be a better to not produce a budget for the nation.
