"Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg served the Supreme Court with the highest level of integrity and judicial influence. She followed in the steps of Sandra Day O’Connor and served as an inspiration to generations of women. Her longstanding friendship with Justice Scalia showed that partisanship doesn’t belong in the courts. I wish her family, her clerks, her colleagues and her supporters my sincerest sympathies,” said Burgess.
