“Today the House passed a budget setting federal funding levels for Fiscal Year 2018. The budget includes key priorities to build a better America, including promoting economic growth, ensuring a strong national defense, and improving government accountability. This critical vote also paves the way for an upcoming overhaul of the federal tax code. Congress must ensure fiscal responsibility by reducing federal spending and implementing a simpler, better tax code.
