On April 8, 2008, I participated in a event hosted by the Center for Healthcare Transformation, which is headed by former Speaker Newt Gingrich. The event, "Better Health, Lower Cost: Examples from the Real World", brought to Capitol Hill four successful industry leaders to discuss how their real-world innovative techniques have led to improvements in America's health care.
The panel of four included:
- Wayne Sensor, CEO, Alegent Health
- Dr. Ron Loeppke, Chief Strategy Officer, Matria
- Dr. Reed Tuckson, EVP, Chief of Medical Affairs, United Health Group
- Michael Reitz, Chief Marketing Officer, BCBS of Louisiana
The Center for Healthcare Transformation's website says:
